Beware of burnout in your executive leaders

If you have worked your way up through the management hierarchy, you will no doubt at some stage in your career have observed or experienced varying degrees of burnout.  Over the years I have seen many clients (male and female) who have come to see me and literally burst into tears when they start explaining the expectations put upon them by their management.  A classic sign of burnout!

It is now acknowledged in New Zealand Employment Law that persistent stress is a Health and Safety risk. Taking no action exposes the Company that is not seen to provide appropriate support. This article highlights the alarm bells as well as providing some great tips.
